For those who like to avoid the use of chemicals near their dogs, here are a few natural flea treatments. NOTE: Neem Oil and Lavender Oil should not be used on a bitch in whelp.

1. mix 5 to 10 mils of Neem oil, 40 mils of extra virgin olive oil and just a few drops of tea tree and lavender oil, � cup of apple cider vinegar and � cup water .

2. 15ml wheatgerm oil

20mls olive oil

50ml grapeseed oil

4 drops of cedarwood oil

Although we had our first litter of Elkhounds on 26 Jun 07, I had my first litter of Old English Sheepdogs in 1980. Breeding was always easy and we never had any problems with any of our litters, until our Elkhounds.

We had our very first litter on 27th October 2007. We had planned for this litter a year in advance but our original plan was to use Zac... Then after some pedigree research, we desided that Mishka was a better match. Adele was two when she was mated in August. She had two successful ties. both lasting 45 minutes each.

Adele yelped and carried on so we had to sit and calm her down. Mishka on the other hand enjoyed every moment of it... LOL.

We took all percausions and had Adele inside ...
